Empowerment Series
Your girl is growing and changing fast, and it’s more important than ever to keep the lines of communication open.
We understand the psychology of adolescence and have the tools to help you foster positive and productive discussions with your girl as she faces many new feelings and uncertainties. You may even learn something about yourself, too!
Our community-based program is:
- Offered after school hours
- Attended by girls along with a trusted adult, typically a parent or grandparent.
- Provided for a fee of $279, which covers all four sessions for both the preteen girl and her trusted adult
- Available at discounted rates and through scholarships for those that qualify.
We believe EVERY girl deserves access to the knowledge, connection and safety our programs provide, so no girl will be turned away from our Empowerment Workshop Series! Please follow the link below to complete a scholarship application.
Girls and their trusted adults in the program will receive:
- Four weeks of audience-specific learning
- Girls in the Know t-shirts
- Hygiene kit that includes a selection of sanitary products and personal care items
- Reference materials and handouts
- I Am Enough wristband
- Workshop Completion Certificate
- Techniques to foster open and honest communication
