Girls in the Know proudly joined nearly 800 other non-profits for our region’s biggest giving day of the year. Thanks to our patrons, we raised $3,560 to support our outreach and scholarship

The Empowerment Project, May 16, 2015
Over 200 audience members gathered for the screening of The Empowerment Project, a powerful documentary film that spotlights positive female leaders across a variety of lifestyles and industries. Following, was a meaningful discussion, led by KMOV’s Emily Rau with the audience and guest Panelists: Khalia Collier, Owner and GM of St. Louis Surge Basketball; Danielle Smith, Digital Correspondant, Speaker, Author and Mom; Chelsea Crockett, 17 year old YouTube Sensation; Jennifer Cissell, Mechanical Engineer & Site Delivery Leader, Proctor & Gamble-St. Louis Plant
